This year's meeting of the Electrostatics Society of America is being held at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. With the venue in the southeast portion of the U. S., it is appropriate that a special session be held on electrostatics as applied in the textile industry.
The Association celebrates its 25th meeting with presentations highlighting a broad spectrum of topics, both basic and applied. They establish further scientific understanding and document additional beneficial applications of electrostatic technology in biological systems, devices and processes, charging and electrical field effects, and electrokinetics.
